PAX ,THE BABY GOAT LEFT ALONE TO  DIE

Our most recent rescue is Pax, a week-old, tiny all white goat who was left for dying when Patrick and Claudine found him two days ago.

Brought back from the verge of death with the help of friends, Pax is now being pampered and fed.

But while he ate a lot of milk yesterday, today he has had little appetite and low energy.

Pax needs your help! We would love to get him to a vet.

We're worried he may have caught pneumonia or something else in the cold, dirty conditions he was in.

We don't have the money for vet bills,

though--so your donations are appreciated!

We are also looking for sources of raw goat's milk to feed Pax. Ideally free, cheap or trade.

All donations (monetary or otherwise) are tax-deductible.

AN UPDATE ABOUT PAX
It is now 6 weeks since Pax is with us.Generally he is doing well and he has tripled his weight
.However Pax needs a lot of vet care because of the poor conditions of his birth and the trauma he has suffered when we found him at the stock yard.
.He practically has no immune system, having been deprived of colostrums at birth,so he has been prompt to various infections and complications.
We want to give him the best chance at surviving and we found a very good vet who is working with us to help Pax.
We also need to buy milk replacer now to feed him and it is quite costly.
Would you give little Pax a chance for a good life with some donation to Cloa’s Ark Animal Sanctuary,
Thanks .

EXPERIENCE OF A VOLUNTEER AT CLOA'S ARK ANIMAL SANCTUARY

I met Claudine and Patrick Veistroffer about two years ago.

On this first meeting the couple’s love for

animals was evident as Patrick spoke softly to a hen nestled on his shoulder

and Claudine gently cradled

another hen in her arms.
